Our Philosophy
The philosophy of ILP is built upon the premise that language learning empowers people worldwide. Since English is now a leading international language, ILP provides international students with ample opportunities to develop English proficiency to prepare them for entry and competition in college. ILP specializes in educating students regardless of their current levels of English. Our school provides students with an intensive English program and supports their emotional and spiritual needs. ILP is a safe, interactive learning environment, where the voices of students are heard. This school inspires and empowers the students by guiding them to utilize English to communicate their feelings, express their thoughts, discover new identities, think critically, and ultimately prepare them to be life- long learners.
Our Goals:
- to provide a quality English language program to the international community at an affordable price;
- to limit classes to small groups of no more than 20 students in order to give students the speaking opportunities they need for adequate practice and to allow them the individual attention and feedback they need from the instructor;
- to maintain professional standards of our staff by requiring a minimum of a Master’s degree in a related field of all instructors;
- to listen to our students and to the family in the community and to give them the types of classes they express a need/or a desire for;
- to listen to our instructors and allow them to participate in the decisions of the school;
- to provide a friendly and helpful atmosphere for students and teachers;
- to provide a flexible and convenient schedule for students including, day and evening classes.
