The instructors of ILP are passionate and specialized, holding either master degrees or single subject teaching credentials in their area of expertise. Our instructors have extensive experience with teaching speakers of other languages. Our caring faculty has developed cultural sensitivity through teaching and travel abroad in countries such as Brazil, China, Guatemala, Indonesia, Mexico, and Taiwan. Valuing the learning of different languages and cultures, they are fluent speakers of other languages such as Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese), Indonesian, Spanish, and Portuguese. Our faculty creatively designs a flexible curriculum and facilitates class activities that combine traditional teaching methods with participatory, hands-on learning to best reach our students.
